Fahad Siddiqui is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright’s Toronto office. He is regularly counted on by clients to provide strategic advice on bet-the-company problems and has appeared in all levels of court in Canada and arbitrations in multiple jurisdictions. Fahad was previously a litigator at a leading Wall Street firm and a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada. His recent work includes a successful legislative challenge brought on behalf of an industry association and its members, a successful oppression claim on behalf of a minority shareholder in a lucrative manufacturing business, and a trial win in a dispute regarding the multi-billion dollar sale of a stake in a significant infrastructure asset. Fahad also maintains a leading pro bono practice. He has acted on behalf of civil liberties associations, equity-seeking groups, refugees, and children with disabilities, including in cases heard by the Supreme Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of the United States. Fahad is a mentor to numerous law students and early-career lawyers and is deeply invested in helping others realize their potential.
