The challenges facing employees and employers continue to multiply and evolve. Perhaps nobody is more aware of this than Scott Hoeppner, who, for the last 14 years, has practised labour and employment law at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman (TDS).
Scott’s response to the ever-shifting landscape is to keep the focus on people. This means an approach that includes an emphasis on relationships and building trust. It is complemented by a strong focus on timeliness, practicality and cost-effectiveness, which allows Scott—with the support of TDS’ impressive bench strength and in-depth knowledge—to deliver efficient solutions that can be implemented quickly and simply. It is a recipe for effective results and continued success.
By partnering with organizations such as Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) Manitoba, Vexxit and Advocates for Employers of Canada (AEC), Scott is a driving force in helping to raise TDS’ profile across Canada. He also volunteers with multiple organizations in southern Manitoba, where he is currently working to expand TDS’ service offerings across the province and grow his practice.
