Scott’s approach to litigation is to focus on client needs and to adapt to the requirements of any given file or situation. His expertise covers not only multiple areas of the law, but also multiple types and fora for the resolution of disputes, including court proceedings, arbitral proceedings and mediations and negotiations.
Scott has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and coaching. He leads his firm’s student recruitment program. In this role, Scott is responsible for overseeing the hiring, mentoring, and educating of articling and summer students. He has also served as an articling principal to the firm’s articling students.
Scott is an active member of the legal community and the community-at-large. Scott has authored numerous papers and articles relating to the practice of commercial litigation. Scott also serves on the Executive of the Board of Directors of the Durham Association for Family Resources and Supports, a not-for-profit organization devoted to assisting individuals with disabilities and their families. Scott has also devoted many hours to Pro Bono Ontario and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
Andrea is an Employee Learning and Development professional with two years of experience who is passionate about using her skills to implement innovative and pioneering HR initiatives to drive a culture of professional development. Her strengths lay in people and relationship management, critical thinking and delivering behaviour change projects with an innovative twist. She has been responsible for introducing compliance learning tailored to our significantly diverse employee base of over 12,000 and using her skills to create engagement for and roll out of 'Altogether Autism & Neurodiversity awareness programme at The Warehouse Group. She has shifted the way our team engages with learning, cultivating a continuous learning and development culture specific to their journey.
