Sharon Kour solves complex problems. Clients rely on Sharon for her sharp intellect, keen sense of pragmatism, and ability to efficiently navigate a path to success. Sharon is a founding partner of Reconstruct LLP. Prior to joining her partner, Sharon spent close to a decade at McCarthy Tétrault. Sharon’s expertise is in insolvency and restructuring and commercial litigation. She frequently acts as counsel to debtors and various stakeholders in insolvency and restructuring proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Sharon also acts for court officers in wide-ranging court-appointed, regulatory, and public inquiry mandates. Sharon’s peers respect her ability to build consensus in complicated situations. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for her work in corporate and commercial litigation. Sharon is the secretary of the Insolvency Section of the Ontario Bar Association and actively participates as an OBA liaison for various judicial and legal initiatives.
