Jonathan is committed to fostering the next generation of legal professionals. As an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, he teaches negotiation to upper-year students, equipping them with practical skills for their careers. A dedicated mentor, he actively supports aspiring lawyers and recent calls from the Black and 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and advocates for a more equitable legal community. Recently graduating with Distinction from a master’s in public policy at the London School of Economics, Jonathan’s dedication to public service extends to volunteer roles on boards of directors, including Earth Rangers, a youth environmental education charity. Demonstrating his commitment to climate action, Jonathan was the sole candidate in the 2023 Law Society of Ontario Bencher election to campaign on a climate platform.

Jonathan Odumeru is a legal professional with a substantial background in litigation and human rights. Jonathan co-leads TD’s Internal Investigations practice, managing high-stakes legal and regulatory matters. Jonathan crafts defensible investigation strategies, and his strategic insights shape TD’s communications across both regulatory and public-facing channels. Beyond investigations, he leads TD’s customer-related Human Rights litigation practice and provides counsel on French-language class actions. Prior to joining TD, Jonathan appeared before all level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
